Brazilian Judge Escalates Battle With Musk, Freezes Starlink Funds and Threatens X Shutdown

A Brazilian Supreme Court justice, Alexandre de Moraes, froze Starlink bank accounts in Brazil in an effort to force the company to pay fines levied against X, formerly known as Twitter. Starlink maintains that it is a separate entity from X and should not be held responsible for the fines. Musk criticized the judge`s actions and offered free internet service to Brazilian users until the matter is resolved. Moraes has threatened to block X in Brazil if a legal representative is not appointed within the country. Musk responded to the threat with a digitally altered image of the judge in prison.
