SpaceX Launches Rescue Mission to Retrieve Stranded Astronauts from Space Station

Two astronauts, Wilmore and Williams, are stranded on the International Space Station because their Boeing spacecraft experienced safety issues. SpaceX launched a rescue mission, but due to limited space and scheduling constraints, Wilmore and Williams won`t return to Earth until February. Their original mission was supposed to last only a week. In the meantime, two other astronauts, Hague and Gorbunov, were sent to the space station to replace a crew of four who have been there since March. Hague was chosen for his experience handling a previous launch emergency. Two other astronauts, Cardman and Wilson, were originally scheduled for this mission but were replaced to accommodate the rescue.
