Connecticut Trader Convicted in Petrobras Bribery Scheme

A Connecticut trader was found guilty of bribing officials at Brazil`s state oil company, Petrobras, for nearly a decade. Glenn Oztemel, along with another individual, allegedly used coded language to conceal over $1 million in bribes to secure contracts and gain insider information for two Connecticut trading companies. Oztemel`s lawyer plans to appeal the verdict. The other individual awaits extradition, while Oztemel`s brother and a Petrobras trader have already pleaded guilty to related charges. One of the trading companies involved has settled related charges.
