Uber CLO Takes Leave to Support Kamala Harris Presidential Campaign

Uber`s top lawyer, Tony West, is taking a temporary, unpaid leave of absence to support his sister-in-law, Vice President Kamala Harris, in her presidential campaign. West, who joined Uber in 2017, will act as a family surrogate and speak about Harris from a personal perspective. He intends to return to his position at Uber after the campaign. During his absence, his responsibilities will be handled by other members of the legal team.
